The all inclusive option was great for people who want to take most of their meals at the resort. The resort is not close to the center of the town. The shuttle bus times to the beach were limited The resort supplied no wash cloths.

Salalh is not ready to tourists. a very poor area along the coast, dirty apartments, the food is mostly street food. locals are often not friendly and can be aggressive. Taxi drivers at the airport are generally trash. The local nature is beautiful, but if there is a car. you can't swim from June to October, it's terrible. There are no promenades, parks for walking. There is nothing to see and very expensive prices. In general, I do not recommend it. In my list of countries, this country is in last place.

Salalah is a very beautiful place with amazing nature including mountains, deserts and beach. It has a reach history and culture which is somehow deferment than Muscat with its tribal traditions, delicious food and green areas. Visitors must enjoy picnics on the mountains to see waterfalls and wadis. Special camel meat (Madhbi) is one the best to me as well as many modern restaurants and coffee shops everywhere. Add on that the people of Salalah are very kind and friendly welcome the guest

It was our first time in Salalah and we visited for two days...
It was our first time in Salalah and we visited for two days during the Khareef season. We only had a full day to do one tour and had to make a choice. A longer stay of 5 to 7 days would have been ideal to appreciate all the locations. The weather was a nice respite from the bright hot sun in Kuwait being cool, overcast, and drizzling continuously at times. The mountain roads were heavily shrouded in fog and other than being very cool, we could not see much of the views. Swimming is forbidden during this season because of the high waves and strong currents. We found the Omani people, as always, very welcoming and friendly wherever we went. It's best to plan all visits and excursions ahead of your trip.
The breakfast option was great. The staff specially the local Oman chef preparing Indian cousins was good surprise.
Special thanks to the front office staff who attended my request on 25th afternoon and the Chef who arranged the Cake for my son’s 13th Birthday. Must to forget the waiter who besought they cake to our room. He was gem of a person.
Thanks to Mr Prasanth and Mr Tinkle from the Resturant for making us so comfortable.
Thank you all.
Keep it up.
It's only 5 minutes walk from where the bus from Salalah arrives and the same to the stop from where the bus to the airport leaves.
There are many restaurants & coffee shops close by.
The hotel looks like it's new and has marble tiled floors throughout. Everything's spotless.
The staff were helpful and welcoming.
There's a coffee shop on site. The onsite restaurant is open for breakfast only.
It was just the right size for us, we enjoyed the large livingroom/kitchen space. The beds were comfy and we were very happy to have a large dining table. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. The villa has a super patio where you can spend your evenings in the balmy Omani air looking at the small lagoon.
The owners are very responsive.
It is our first visit to Oman. We watched many YouTube videos prior to our trip and we were sold! However, seeing the place in person was nothing like the videos because we explored places with a local that were not on YouTube. We are very pleased with what we see and would definitely come again and stay for longer 👍
It's not my first time here in Salalah Gardens Hotel, i recommend to all to visit this hotel, and to be honest if you want best service contact the handsome Tunisian receptionist 😍 Osama just he will let you enjoy your stay, so helpful and handsome with a nice perfume.. See you next time
The room was VERY clean.
We could check in as soon as we got to the hotel.
The location is really nice, it's opposite a mall and there are many little shops where you guy buy shawarma, fresh juices, etc.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Even gave us tips on where to go..
We booked the hotel for long weekend trip to Salalah. We were not looking for something luxurious just something to sleep and go to explore the nature.
This is what you will have, something convenient affordable but not luxurious nor romantic. It met the expectations.
This was our favorite stay in Oman. Great space in the apartment, nice fittings, very clean, very comfortable. The staff was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast -- dosas, with coconut chutney (among other things). Couldn't recommend more!
The staff , they were all outstanding without mentioning any names .
I stayed 3 nights , my place of interests were a bit far but I couldn’t change hotel because of their kindness and hospitality.
The room size is spacious , clean, comfortable, and the staff was amazing .
They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Salalah…
i just loved the hotel .. it is clean and staff was very friendly .. i will for sure visit oman again and stay in this hotel .. anything you need during your stay is available in the hotel ..
We were able to experience the rich culture of Omanis and the way they lived. The Hotel has been built considering the minute details of Omani Heritage.
